In a tragic and shocking turn of events, Peaches Geldof, daughter of famed musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, was found dead today. She was 25.
The beautiful starlet became popular amongst UK audiences for her contributions to such newspapers like The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph. Outside of writing however, Geldof had delved into television with a series of documentary programmes and even hosted her own chat-show titled OMG! with Peaches Geldof.
Her success in writing and television, as well as her famous genes launched the young woman to became a constant figure in press, tabloids and even as a fashion “it girl”.
She married rock-musician Thomas Cohen in 2012, with their two children Astala and Phaedra born in 2012 and 2013.
It was announced on the 7th April that Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof had died and that “the death is being treated as unexplained and sudden.” Which is certainly an understatement, judging by the explosion of social media intrigue and grief.
Geldof was active on her twitter and Instagram accounts only yesterday, having posted a picture of her as a young child in the arms of her mother, Paula, who died of a heroin overdose in 2000.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Geldof family during this difficult time.
